Journal Intern Position Available #ConSci1601

Kathmandu Institute of Applied Sciences (KIAS) invites applications for Journal Intern positions for its flagship journal Conservation Science. Conservation Science is a peer-reviewed open access journal devoted primarily to the dissemination of up-to-date knowledge about global, regional and national conservation issues and the ways to tackle them. 

Journal Intern will have to liaison with journal production and editorial team. The specific task includes, among others, communicate with universities and research institutions to identify opportunities for its expansion, handle new submissions and ensure that they comply with the submission guidelines.

The ideal candidates are those who are ambitious junior researchers (e.g., final year graduate students) with a strong interest in promoting research and academic work. The right candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills with ability to take initiatives and work effectively.
