After successful completion of KIAS Summer School 2015, KIAS is organizing winter school. The winter school offers two modules. First module, taught by Dr. Hemu Kafle, focuses on the basic understanding and applications of remote sensing so that the participants will be able to acquire, analyze, and visualize data derived from various satellite sensors such as MODIS. In second module, participants will be trained in various analytical techniques to analyze samples for pharmaceutical, biological and material science applications. The later module will be taught by Dr. Bhanu Neupane, Dr. Mahendra Thapa, and Amita Sharma.
